Tell us a bit about your professional background and current career.
I began my career in July of 2000 in Phoenix, Arizona where I obtained my Realtor’s license and Business Management degree. Over the course of the last 18 years, I’ve consistently worked in varied client services and sales. I obtained my Wisconsin Realtor’s license in December of 2014 and have since become one of Coldwell Banker-Brenizer Realty’s Multi-Million Dollar, Top Producing, and Listing Agents throughout Western Wisconsin. I specialize in innovative, strategic marketing, and out-of-the-box thinking in residential, land, and new construction.
How did you get started in the housing industry?
When I became a Realtor, I networked and earned the trust and business of a number of builders in the area.
What is your favorite part of working in the housing industry?
My favorite part of working in this industry is connecting people with builders in our area to provide them with their dream homes. Often times, there isn’t an option for them that meets their needs and is currently on the market. By working alongside builders, I’m able to match the buyer with one of our outstanding builders and walk alongside them in the journey to home ownership. There is nothing better!
Do you have any advice for other women looking to enter the industry?
Jump! The mentality that the building industry is exclusively for men is outdated and simply not accurate. This industry is incredibly rewarding and allows you to meet and work with immense talent. While doing so, you have the opportunity to connect yourself to the community we live in by supporting local business and being a part of the growth and positive change that makes the Chippewa Valley one of the best places to live!
We would like to thank Kristy for her positive impact on our community and her continued support of the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association. Learn more about Kristy and view here listings here.
